PLEASE NOTE: TO ACCOMMODATE AN INTERNATIONAL AUDIENCE, THE SESSION TIMES ARE STAGGERED
Recordings will be available until 23.59 GMT on 9th March 2026
Tuesday 24 February
Dr Michael Hill, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon speak about how Facelift surgery is performed. You will gain valuable insight into how the tissues are dissected and how skin laxity is tightened.
Petra will follow her tried and tested protocols to safely support the healing tissues. By the end, you will understand why and how your treatment protocols must change based on the patient and their specific procedure.
12.00 PT / 15.00 ET / 20.00 GMT
Wednesday 25 February
Mr Aftab Siddiqui, Consultant Plastic Surgeon, talks about the abdominoplasty procedure. With the increase in weight loss drug usage, more and more people are requesting this procedure to give a more defined look to their tummies.
Once again, Petra will follow up with specific postoperative strategies on how you can optimise your patient's recovery, taking into consideration how the tissues are affected after liposuction and tissue dissection.
11.00 PT / 14.00 ET/ 19.00 GMT
Thursday 26 February
Hear Mr Fulvio Urso-Baiarda, Consultant Plastic Surgeon, speak about 'Vegan Breast Augmentation' - a procedure which combines liposuction and fat grafting into the breasts. This gives a more natural outcome with fewer complications than those common with implants.
Petra shares her years of experience in safe postop care for optimising and preserving the grafted fat, so there may be less need for additional surgery.

Why This Webinar Series Matters...
When you're treating a post-op body, you’re not treating a “normal” lymphatic system. These clients are healing from tissue trauma, and the difference between a generic approach and a procedure-specific one can show up in:
-
Smoother recoveries and more confident patient guidance
-
Fewer avoidable setbacks caused by poor timing, wrong pressure, or wrong protocols
-
Stronger clinical boundaries (knowing what’s normal vs what’s not)
-
Greater trust—from patients who feel safe, and from surgeons who want reliable aftercare support
-
A clearer professional identity: you’re not offering “lymphatic massage”… you’re delivering clinical aftercare.
What will change for you after this series
Before
You're filled with fear and worry and feel unsure how each procedure affects the tissues and the lymphatic system. So you default to “one-size-fits-all” aftercare, second-guessing your timing, your pressure, and your protocols.
After
You understand what's happening beneath the surface, adjust your protocols based on the procedure, make safer decisions—so you treat post-op patients with calm, clinical confidence and sleep better at night.

Parker Scott
Hello! I’m Petra - postoperative aftercare specialist and founder of The Aftercare Academy. I’ve spent over 20 years progressing from massage therapy into advanced manual lymphatic therapy and lymphoedema practice, working in clinical settings and alongside leading experts in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
This webinar series brings together what surgeons do in theatre and what we, as post-op therapists, are responsible for in recovery—so you can understand how facelift, abdominoplasty and breast augmentation with fat transfer (all involving liposuction) affect the lymphatic system, wound healing and outcomes.
My goal is simple: help you treat post-op patients with clarity and confidence, and ultimately make the post-op world a safer place for our patients.
