THE RECOVERY PROCESS
Any surgical procedure causes immense trauma to your body. In the early days and weeks after your procedure, your body goes through four phases of wound healing and each phase cannot commence until the previous phase has completed.
Phase Two of wound healing, the Inflammatory Phase when swelling occurs, is the most important phase of your recovery.
If inflammation extends beyond its normal time-frame, the swelling that contains lots of cellular debris, lingers in your tissues, this fluid can have a negative effect on wound healing and consequently a detrimental effect on your final result.

The Importance of Planning Your Recovery
Your surgery is only half of the story. The recovery is the other half. So, it is just as important to plan your recovery as it is to plan your surgery. Give your body it's best opportunity to heal optimally by improving your lifestyle well in advance.
By integrating Lymphatic Massage Therapy before and after your surgery, along with wearing the correct medical postop compression garments, you will help reduce your postoperative swelling more quickly, making your feel much more comfortable. When you reduce swelling and remove inflammatory debris from the tissues, your scarring process is enhanced.
One of the most common issues after Brazilian Butt Lift surgery, or VASER Liposuction is FIBROSIS. So, to prepare your body and give it the best opportunity to heal optimally and avoid fibrosis, I advise that you put lifestyle changes in action at least 3 months prior to your surgery. This should include improving your diet and exercise regime.
Not sure where to start? Let me help you put a plan in action so you are optimising your healing process and enhancing the result of your procedure.
